Yarrows Family Bakers, one of the last and largest remaining
independently owned bakeries in New Zealand, was founded in the
small South Taranaki township of Manaia in 1923.

Yarrows Family Bakers
Proudly owned and operated by the third generation

other quality bakery products to PAK'nSAVE and New World stores
throughout New Zealand, and leading supermarkets, retailers and
food companies around the globe.
Yarrows first started supplying Foodstuffs through
its New World in Hawera in around 1970, almost 39 years ago and now
supplies a range of bread rolls; danish; croissants; puff pastry,
pies and delights to its stores throughout the North
Island.
Yarrows' National Sales & Marketing Manager,
Paul Hansen says, "The Yarrows brands and Foodstuffs have fostered
a very close working relationship to the benefit of both
companies.
"Without doubt, this business relationship has been
the cornerstone of Yarrows' ability within the New Zealand market
place to sustain their own growth and to deliver on product
innovations."
"Bakery is an extremely vibrant business category
that is under constant review in seeking continuous improvement.
This has resulted in a better way to conduct business which has
operational benefits for both parties, medium and long
term."
"The working relationship has been a long term one
which will continue to be both encouraged and
fostered."
